As I understand it - Only certain "controlled" waters such as The broads and Windermere require some form of boat licence - I think the Thames Aurthority is the same.

Perhaps if any other member has pertinent information - They could use this post to enlighten me.

I've previously only ever taken my own boat out on Loch Awe - and at the time no-one was there to ask. Laughing Cool
