Fantastic fish. That's given the record a mighty kick up the bum! I bet it won't be long before Farmoor does the two predator records.

I am jealous Sad
Ian Crook is also a member of the LAS.
As in the previous post I thought I had connected to a big perch, oh well.

I am now in St Ives for Christmas.

Have a great Christmas and New Year everyone.

Annual Christmas Fish Fest Match on F2 yesterday. (29/12/18 )

30 of us fished for 488 fish - Rod Average over 16!!

Not the best conditions with moderate winds making getting the flies down and keeping them down harder. Nevertheless, Farmoor delivered and then some. Di7, Di8, Booby Basher, Cortland Di9 lines all did well with the Booby Basher proving to be the line.

Nice one, Tim. Cool

I've got a couple of potential trips lined up for January but it looks like I'll have to up my game considerably to match your results. Very Happy

Top angling. Very Happy

That tends to reinforce the old saying " there are anglers and there are danglers" Very Happy
Well done.

I had a few hours from the bank on F1 on Saturday morning. I really should have grabbed a boat on F2 but had visions of casting minkies to willing leviathans around the jetties and other structure on F1. It was not to be though. I hooked and lost two fish including a nice brownie, both on a foam head fry pattern, but that was all she wrote.

Still, a nice way to spend a few hours after the family mayhem of Christmas. Very Happy

Hard luck, Dave! Smile

I've noted the structure at that end of F1 too and Peter and I have often discussed its potential. Sadly the wind has not allowed us to explore this area properly from a boat ... yet! Smile
