Hi all,

I have booked a sea fishing charter from Poole on November 9th and we will be targeting cod. There are various forum members booked so its a mini sea fishing social!
I have 10 names confirmed and there are 2 places left. The cost for the day is £55.00 and if you need to hire tackle, then its an extra £5.00 + any terminal tackle lost + bait.
We leave at 8am from Poole Harbour and the trips is 8 hours, weather depending.
The skipper has said that if everyone has caught cod, we will then target other species.
The boat is a catamaran and is fast and stable. The skipper is very helpful and tea/coffee is served. There is a microwave available to use.
This is their website: http://www.silverspraycharters.com/

Let me know asap if interested.
Cheers
Nigel

It is the 3rd Mick. Well spotted and you win the prize for spotting the deliberate mistake!
I don't know what Richard has decided that you win but I'm sure there will be something nice coming from the SKB North office.

The numbers are now up to 11 with the addition of Dr Roger Boffin!
Now only 1 place left but the skipper has just informed me that he has people interested.

Early start chaps, 5:30am at Kevin's or 7:00am meet at the Little Chef on the A31 at Ringwood.
BH24 2NR postcode for location.

Boat sets from Poole at 8:30am and is out for 8 hours.

I spoke to the skipper tonight. We have 11 names, the boat takes 12. He has booked in an extra so I we can't add any more names. If anyone drops out, I'll mention it so if you are interested, keep an eye on this thread or PM me.
Silver Spray Charters has two identical boats, they are now both full for the 3rd Nov.

This website is good! Shows how the sea bed undulates and there are photos of reefs etc! Must have taken years to develop! You need to zoom in to see the marks.

Where Kev and went last time. If you scroll the map to the right, at the next headland there is a continuation marked in yellow which points to about 7pm. We fished along there.

Cheers for posting up the linky. Having read the skippers do's and dont's I decided to procure some decent wet weather boat kit which turned up today Very Happy - so I will be dressed up in a brightly coloured clown outfit just like the chap holding the gurnard Embarassed Embarassed Cool. It also guarantees flat water, sunshine etc (unless....... Bill is the mysterious 12th man Shock )

Think I might go and roll about in a field to ensure it doesn't look too BNWT Twisted Evil

Looking forward to the day out.

BTW - that lab looks modern compared to mine Wink

But your malign influence spreads its darkness far and wide. We'd have to be in Spain before we could breath easy Bill. Shock

It might be a touch choppy if this forecast is correct, stronger gusts than anything even Bob can muster...
