Haven't been in an age but have heard it is fishing well. Mind you, that was a few days ago and there has been a big chnage in the weather recently.

I found Farmoor 1, the C&R Pool to contain the best fish. Bank Fishing only but superb quality Fish caught on Blood Worms drifted on the breeze (well, it'll be a gale at the moment!!). They will show you your backing.

The Rangers are very helpful on the day. You haven't picked the best conditions to give it a try but best of luck and welcome to the Forum.

Thanks Roy will give the blood worm a try. Ordinarily I wouldn't have even considered going tomorrow but I've taken a week off & it looks like the best chance I'll have - I was supposed to be going Thursday but thankfully have persuaded my wife that we don't need to go shopping after all!!

Will let you know how I get on

cheers

Well I wasn't exactly hauling them in by the truck load but had a great day. Caught this one and managed to loose one that I actually had on the bank as I'm so cack handed - a bit miffed about that but very enjoyable never the less. Tasted really good too but decided not to eat the fish that was inside! Really friendly bunch there - and good tips & hints. I'll be back.
