After todays only visit i have to recommend this fishery.
Only one slight negative is that it is not very large but against that it is a very pleasant spot.
Fish were fin perfect, fought well above the weight and would just not give in.Locals say that most flies work but that buzzers are usually THE fly, damsels, cats and dries also popular. Not overly easy, certainly for best part of the morning, although we were informed by the locals that it is usually fairly easy but not stupidly so.
Very nice owner, plenty of free tea/coffee on offer all day long, some snacks available, small amount of tackle also on offer.Pleasant lodge to retire to if weather is poor, clean toilets and some outside seating.
Catch and release available on a two or more fish ticket and reasonably priced.
I will certainly return again.

Chris
although hardly qualified to rate it,i/we were so impressed that i told the woman who ran it that i would post up reviews on a few forums.
Must say the local anglers were all helpful and Wendy the woman running the place was a gem.The only drawback is that it is small at only three acres.I'm looking atheading back there in a couple of weeks time |
