Hi Fly Fishing Friends "out there" in the cold
As the season in Europe and North America turns colder we continue to fly fish in Thailand. Uninterrupted by the weaher. The slight cooling of the Thai winter is welcomed - but the most we need to wear for fishing is a shirt and hat ! Forget the thermals and waterproofs. This report shows a few different species .......
A nice 23 lb Amazon Redtail Catfish. Caught using a Sage Xi2 9 wt rod and a Tibor Riptide Reel (lots of backing !) Rio Snk Tip line and Rio Hard Mono Leader. A 40 minte fight for Fred.
Fly line out and well into the backing - how many fly fishers see their backing when fishing ?

The Barramundi are doing well and providing fast and furious sport.
The fishing's great and the nightlife WILD - come on and join us !
