Had my Covid jab yesterday !

Awoke this AM to pain at the injection site, but sorted with a couple of Paracetamol - !8 hours after my jab and no other side effects Very Happy

Tis dark in this loooong tunnel - but maybe - just maybe - a hint of a glimmer.

I had mine last week without any adverse physical symptoms
But Bill Gates has been in touch to say my chip is now working and he will be withdrawing all my money from the bank.

Just a quick update - Yesterday, I received my invitation for my second Covid vaccination - just six and a half weeks after my first, as opposed to the possible 13 weeks we all were told was anticipated.

Its for the 31st of March - by all accounts, I should after another 3 weeks from then have maximum protection from the Covid virus Cool

Hoping you and yours are still safe and well ...... Tony. Very Happy

They are obviously pushing through the 2nd jabs. Got mine booked for next Wednesday, just 10 weeks after the 1st. Amazing logistics and organization by the Stroud GP's and their staff. Very Happy Cool Smile

My Second Covid jab was administered yesterday Cool

27 hours later, the only side affects I have experienced has been the expected pain at the injection site - just a throbbing bicep - effectively relieved by a couple of Paracetamol every four hours.
The only noticeable difference between this second jab and my first was the bicep pain kicked in sooner, in that it appeared around 6 o'clock yesterday.

Apparently, according to the rather cute, female army nurse (in camouflage gear) who administered my jab, I shall have reached maximum protection from the virus by the 21st of April.

Here's hoping you and yours stay safe and well ......... Much appreciate all your kind comments ......... Tony Very Happy

EXCELLENT news, Tony! Cool

My second jab should be in early May although I don't have a date. I was given the Pfizer jab and had no side effects whatsoever apart from a little tenderness in the immediate vicinity next day. My wife had the Astra Zeneca and suffered some discomfort during the following 24 hours but not enough to put her off having the second jab when it is her turn. Very Happy
