The Angling Trust has produced a very professional proposal to Government to get us safely fishing again. Very Happy

Absolutely. Very Happy
I've been a paid up member since day one and never doubted that we need a professional organisation to campaign on behalf of anglers and the angling community.

Yes well worth joining the angling trust, for this and many other reasons.

Have you all seen that Jamie Cook is asking all members to write to their MPs in support of the Trust's proposal? The more we get thinking along the same lines as us the better and the sooner we will be out pestering trout again.

It's on the Trust's website. They've even set it up so that you can send it direct to your MP via the Trust. I had already emailed mine.

Keep well. I'm getting awfully bored with decorating!

I've also sent a letter to my MP so at least that's three of us! Laughing

Here is a link to the letter template which makes it easy to contact your MP and it only takes a few minutes. Smile

I've been greatly encouraged by the support I've seen for the Angling Trust proposal from anglers generally and how it has support from leading personalities from across the angling spectrum, despite a few moans on Facebook. Rolling Eyes

There may be hope for angling yet! Very Happy
