I'm happy to confirm that both the original maggot drowner and Mr John Lindon Rimmer will be in attendance at this fine social event, however neither them nor myself will be roughing it in tents having secured the rental of one of the cottages near the fishery office. So if you peasants could keep the noise down after dark it would be very much appreciated, and don't even think about sneaking in for crafty shower!!

Not certain yet as to which fishing code my dad will be practicing, he's a coarse fisherman but is keen to have a pop at fluff chucking too.

Please put me down for camping, food and a boat for Friday and Saturday, Nigel! Very Happy

Will aim to arrive Thursday afternoon and leave Sunday morning as usual.

Hoping Steve can make it too but will leave it for him to confirm . Smile

I thought it was fly only at Elinor, how do they allow coarse fishing?

Edit:Is it Willowbrook. Didn't realise how close the Nene was too.

Also what's that big lake Aldwincle?

Elinor is fly only aside from some pike days with lures on occasion. Maggoty Mick has been with us coarse fishing for several years now. He buggers off at daybreak to wherever he goes and returns in time for dinner. Cool As to the rest of it, the Nene is just over the far bank but I'm not sure what the lakes are.

Well that's just not good enough Rich, I expected a concise description of the coarse fishing lakes within walking distance of the camp including species and tactics.

Being serious now, please put me down for bank, not boat, I'll keep Rog company. Rolling Eyes and I can slope off for a paddle or kip when I get bored.
