Prior to the temporary shut down I had not experience any problems sending a link
to this forum via our e-mail server.

However since the break down any attempts to do so are prevented from doing so &
advise it is being blocked due to having been identified as containing "possible scam"

Could this be somehow related to the break down or is it more likely to be something
within our set up such as security settings or suchlike.

In any event does anyone know how I can remedy the problem ?

Settings shouldn't have changed Bazza. Can you elaborate a bit more? Do you mean links to images or to websites?

For instance, if I were to click on the URL that exists as I type this message, then "copy" it to paste in an e-mail, then
it will not "send" but gets stuck into the outbox advising "possible spam" & needs to be deleted before any other messages
can be sent. No problem if it is posted in a pm or to a word document or suchlike, only if placed in an e-mail.

The URL or link (above) posts ok here & is "active" but if I were to place it in an e-mail it would be locked down. Never used
to be a problem & has only started since the site went down recently. Also problem only seems to be with CFF & other sites
still work as per normal.

Below is the advise given for refusing to send any post with a link to CFF.

An unknown error has occurred.

Subject 'test 100'
Server Error: 554
Server Response: 554 5.7.1 Message rejected due to possible spam content
Server: 'send.xtra.co.nz'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC6F
Protocol: SMTP
Port: 465
Secure(SSL): Yes

That's not a fault with the forum itself Barry but with Windows live mail? / your email software Incorrectly identifying the forum as potential spam site. Instead of your email being sent it should be directed to a spam folder / recycle bin or something like that? inside of which there will be a option to identify / the email as 'not spam' after which your email client should not make the mistake again. You may have to look up the exact instructions for the email software you're using but hopefully the above will get you going in the right direction...

Thanx Paul ..... suspected it may have been something along those lines.

Will have a go at trying to remedy the problem as per your advice, but given my low level of puter savvy
am not overly confident, however will find someone more competent to assist .... such as one of the grandkids.

Will let you know of any outcome.

Cheers Barry
