|We were off to Bilboa last weekend and I found my self with a book but no fishing magazine to read.
So I went upstairs and turned the pile of FF&FT upside down and found myself looking at January 2007. I guess I had chucked out a lot of the previous copies ( after ripping out some pages), any how what a lot of good articles there are in the old edition. Unlike the copy of Trout Fisherman which had rubbish content.
There was a great easy tie sedge pattern, a mention of a young Bob Preston water keeper, the washing line technique, salmon netting in Ireland, bloody salmon farms and the start of a series of articles by Mr J on casting basics.
Also a couple of good river fishing articles, something I am getting interested in after my day on the Test.
So if you have a large pile of magazines and time on you hands it's well worth doing, just picked up February 2007 for a peak
Floating Lines, buzzers, nymphs, stick floats, maggots and throwing lures at bitey things.
