Unmistakable jaw profile the LAW. Yep bought it a few years ago from Lawrence, winced at the asking price then and took a deep breath, it is a real pleasure to use.

I have the Snowbee copy and love it. Brilliant photos by the way.
Very Happy

Is that the one I've got as well Michael? I'm fairly sure it is but I'm not up on vice stuff. I realise this means you'll have to watch the video again to check.............. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

I might actually tie something without any pressure of a swap on me now. If they're any good I might initiate a swap with hindsight! Cool

Fossil-fish, the "Snowbee Waldron" is not a copy, both vices were designed by Lawrence W, & refined with the help of Hans Weilenman on the original. Which was also made totally by Lawrence.

The Snowbee W, is made in Japan to Lawrence's own design & spec.

Hi there, I have around 40 yrs exp. of tying flies, incl. some semi-pro work. I've taught at adult evening classes, written for and supplied photos for most U.K. fly magazines. Given talks/slide shows/lectures/demonstrations etc. Am founder and life pres. of local Fly Dressers Guild (27years), our members have won more prizes for tying than any other similar club, we've also won several national flyfishing comps. I look forward to both learning from and contributing to this highly respected forum.

I'd like to thank Chris (Grey Hackle) for getting his post count up yet again (way beyond mine - and he had a year or so off) by organizing and hosting this swap so efficiently, and to everyone who entered, including "Ankle". I'm not promising anything but it's slightly invigorated my capacity to tie flies. It's also reinvigorated my capacity to make irreverent videos lampooning the general calm way of this sort of thing on t'interweb. I'll be away until early September from next weekend (fishing stuff and laying on a beach consecutively) but I fully intend to attempt further swaps where mechanically able! Very Happy

Sorry Embarassed Should have said the Snowbee version. Very nice vice indeed. I like it very much. It was a special present for a notable birthday.

Fleas have flown so you should receive them in the next day or two.

Enjoy.
