Seeing as it wasn't snowing we made the dubious decision to try the estuary again today. High tide was at lunchtime.



There was no snow in evidence but the wind was biting. I've never been that cold fishing before and I was well wrapped up. The rods had to be kept low to avoid being blown off the pods which in turn caused problems with false indications.



Nothing of any note succumbed to the bait and it got windier and windier sending salt spray into our faces and eyes. Further defences were required...... Shock



By 3pm we'd called it a day! Very Happy

Meanwhile it reached 34C two days ago where we were fishing in New Zealand Wink
