hi to all im pete had no idea were to put this so here it is. iv been fishing for over 25 years for the last 2 years i have been mostley fly fishing for anything that will take a fly. my passion is fishing for pike and carp on the fly, no better fighters in the water in my opinion. i live in the west-mids and have lots of canals local to me witch i fish as often as i can with the fly gear as well as course gear. i hope to talk to some like minded people and share tips and skills. _________________ hunt for what you need, take what you can find. |

Welcome from me too Pete, Father Christmas is spot on with his comment above. Along with Lakefisher and blondie he regularly hooks up decent pike on the fly whilst wearing a funny hat.
Haven't had a report of carp on here for a while though. Maybe you could post up some pictures? I must admit to not having had a go at them in some time which is a bit strange for me seeing as the first thirty or so fish I ever caught on a fly rod were all carp.
