hi to all im pete had no idea were to put this so here it is. iv been fishing for over 25 years for the last 2 years i have been mostley fly fishing for anything that will take a fly. my passion is fishing for pike and carp on the fly, no better fighters in the water in my opinion. i live in the west-mids and have lots of canals local to me witch i fish as often as i can with the fly gear as well as course gear. i hope to talk to some like minded people and share tips and skills.

Welcome from me too Pete, Father Christmas is spot on with his comment above. Along with Lakefisher and blondie he regularly hooks up decent pike on the fly whilst wearing a funny hat. Razz

Haven't had a report of carp on here for a while though. Maybe you could post up some pictures? I must admit to not having had a go at them in some time which is a bit strange for me seeing as the first thirty or so fish I ever caught on a fly rod were all carp.

Two species I would like to try for on a fly rod, there's time yet.
Welcome Pete.
