A few birds walking around the garden.

How many flies can you see.

Sadly no. He must be a young bird and not got a full tail as yet.

Keeping an eye on him though for next year hopefully. Very Happy Razz

Now what are we talking about here ? The better half will not let me shoot them in the garden, only when out shooting.

I've just taken possession of two very attractive hen capes, one a light badger and the other a fabulous dark blue dun.

Unfortunately, they're still attached to Milly and Molly and I've a sneaking suspiscion that little lad and Mummy would be less than impressed to find them skinned and tacked to a board.

I can't say I've ever tried Peacock, with or without cranberry sauce. A situation I must rectify. Cool

Think dry like turkey, tough like ol' hobnailed pheasant (i.e. big spurs on the legs - an old aged cock bird). So potentially awful, but in the hands of an highly skilled cook could prolly be made into something magnificent.

I can see the post now... "First, steal your peacock..."

At least they are all in the same family of birds.

Now wouldn`t that be some sort of cross.
