New here so be gentle !!
Just got back in to fly fishing the last coupl of seasons and back on Rivers this year having joined the local Club.
we have 4 miles on the River derwent in Northumberland.
It has fished really well this last month loads of small brownies in the 8-10" range and a couple in the bigger bracket too, had a 2lb er and a 1½lb out in the last coupl of weeks. on GRHE and PArtridge and orange being the main killers this month.
Have started a blog for my trips for those that are interested..

Nice little blog you have there.
I vaguely remember the Derwent from my teens. Spent most of my time on the Tyne looking for trout but hooking loads of dace.
