UV Gel Burrowing Sand Eel

Hi....I've been busy with the UV gel again....This time I've tied a Burrowing Sand Eel.... The hook shank is weighted Clouser style with 2 split shot, that dig in sand (didn't have any lead dumbells).... The hook fish's shank down and when twitched, kicks up the bottom..... The fly fish's nose down like a fleeing Sand Eel trying to burrow into the sandy bottom.

Hello FBS,

I dabbled with Pike Fly 3 years ago enough to justify picking up a whole set of the Outbound range whilst in the U.S.
Mine are the original longer lines, and the #9 range on a #9 Bloke is an ideal setup for me.
Having said that, most of my Pike Fly is from the bank for river and shallow loch/river mouth pike.
Mostly with limited backcast due to vegetation/reeds etc., for me, the Outbound is the perfect line for this type of fishing.

As said, NOT cheap, but if I've intrigued you enough to want to try one, let me know and I'll send one down for you to try.
